Privacy
The short version: this website has no cookies, no analytics, no tracking and no forms. The Hedgeglow app is still in development and has no users yet, so it holds no one’s data.
Who we are
Hedgeglow is run by Patrik Rittich, a sole trader in Bradford, United Kingdom. Contact: patrik@hedgeglow.co.uk.
This website
- No cookies, analytics or tracking. The site has no scripts at all and loads nothing from other websites.
- Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. We do not use that data to identify or profile visitors.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask, and we never share or sell your details. You can ask us to delete your emails at any time.
The Hedgeglow app
The app is not released yet. It is being built around these rules:
- Children’s chats are checked on the phone. They are not uploaded to us, stored by us or sold to anyone.
- When something looks dangerous, only an encrypted alert leaves the phone, for the parent.
- Only a conversation flagged as risky is kept, encrypted, on the phone. Everything else is checked and forgotten.
- Your child can always see that Hedgeglow is on. No hidden monitoring.
- No ads, no tracking, no data sales. Free forever.
A full privacy policy for the app, written in plain language for parents and children, will be published here before the app is available to anyone.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email patrik@hedgeglow.co.uk. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
